Search Engine OPTIMIZ(E)ation

Search Engine Optimization Top 5 list of to do's:
http://www.1clipart.com/browse.php?p=computers|pcs

1. Post new content regularly:

When optimizing your chances for your site to be further up on “the list”, your company should be posting and updating their site regularly. This is a simple way to keep your site new and interesting to all of your viewers. They are not going to keep going back to your site if it is the same old boring thing with the same old outdated information on it. Keeping your site updated and recent is one of the simplest and easiest ways to optimize you search results to get users to visit YOUR site today.

2. Number 2...

Google and other search engines expect to see many multimedia outlets in web sites today. Your website should create an experience for your viewers. The best websites are interactive but still user friendly. Links and pictures should also help convey the websites message or purpose.

3. Title Tags, Headings and Sub-headings

Title pages are the first thing search engines look at to find out what the site is about. Title tags are essentially title tags in code form. The title is also the first thing that people see when the search engine results appear in .000026 seconds too.

4. Social Media

Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets connect your website to worlds. Many people live through their Facebook and Twitter news feeds. If your site is linked, you immediately have advertising access to millions of other social media users directing people to your site making your site known to all.

5. Meta Tags

Meta tags are just giving the information about your site. These tags are machine-parsable, meaning  the computer will read the information, but it will not be displayed on the screen. These tags are HTML codes that are inserted after the title tag in the HTML code.

The most important thing to remember when optimizing your site for search engines is a combination of all of these techniques. Using one of these alone will not make your site the most optimized for search engines, but a combination of many. So, good luck and get busy putting these tips in action!!!

I want to see your site at the top!
